Live Music opportunities:

As well as providing excellent quality private drumming lessons. We also offer a range of optional programmes that enable our students of all ages and abilities to interact with other musicians. Been housed in the same premises as Andy stocks guitar school enables the drum school helps musicians to come together and experience the ultimate thrill of playing live through one of our amazing in house programmes in the hi-tec ROCK ROOM.

Our programmes are based on Saturday mornings once a month so don't interfere with your on going weekly private one to one drum lesson. Both programmes have the ultimate aim at getting students out and performing at a top local live music venue with all the lights, sound and equipment provided.

Rock Orchestra

Rock Orchestra is our entry level programme designed to get students that are early in their development as a drummer into a live band experience or for students who wish to be accompanied by other drummers as well.

Students are put in to an orchestra of around 10 or 12 with like minded guitarists, bass players, drummers and singers and have a 1 hour guided rehearsal through some of the greatest songs in history! This programme has students from ages 6 to 65 so there's a place for everyone.

Rock Crew

Rock crew is the premium package aimed at players that are confident and well into their development as a drummer. Again students are encouraged to join up with other like minded musicians with a similar ability and age group to form a 4 or 5 piece band. Our students are taught the songs during your private weekly drumming lessons then are given a guided rehearsal with a team of professional teachers during the rock crew sessions. This is the full band experience, from rehearsing to gigging to recording to filming a live music video.

LIVE GIGS FOR STUDENTS:

Many students that start lessons with us also put bands together out of the school and as another service we help them to achieve their ultimate dream by putting on gigs to help drummers and their bands showcase their abilities in a positive environment we help with the publicity, the stage management, and the sound and lighting systems. You don't have to be in a band either we have slots available at our showcases for drummers to do solo performances to friends and family etc.
